INCUBASE Studio, Asia’s leading immersive experience creator, will launch the anime cultural and experience hub “INCUBASE Arena Jeju”, slated to open in 2026. Spanning over 3,300 square meters at 174 Pyeonghwa-ro, Daejeong-eup in Seogwipo-si, the Jeju Island location will officially become the world’s largest INCUBASE Arena to date.

Backed by 20 years of expertise and 200+ global IP licenses…the world’s largest INCUBASE Arena launches in Jeju

According to a comprehensive report by News Huplus on February 28, INCUBASE Studio possesses a formidable global track record, having successfully produced and toured blockbuster exhibition and popup eevent experiences across Asia for top-tier IPs, including Demon Slayer, Crayon Shin-chan, Chainsaw Man, Dragon Ball and One Piece.

Designed as a premier global exhibition destination, INCUBASE Arena Jeju will bring world-renowned entertainment properties to life through cutting-edge, interactive environments.

INCUBASE Arena Jeju will be the largest INCUBASE Arena to-date, raising high expectations for the IP lineup to be announced for its opening.

INCUBASE Arena is an anime cultural and experience hub under INCUBASE Studio, led by Founder and CEO Sion Yip — an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience integrating more than 200 premium licenses with innovative technology, establishing INCUBASE Studio a leading position in immersive entertainment experiences.

Highly successful INCUBASE Arenas are currently operating in Hong Kong, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur, capturing a fast-growing, cross-generational audience for immersive anime experiences while expanding the brand’s influence in the global IP exhibition market.

The network will expand further with a highly anticipated location targeted to open in Bangkok, Thailand, later in 2026. This signals an accelerated expansion of its brand footprint in Asia.

Sion Yip, Founder and CEO of INCUBASE Studio

“Our ultimate vision at INCUBASE is to showcase the sheer magic and power of manga and animation to the entire world,” said Sion Yip, Founder and CEO of INCUBASE Studio. “INCUBASE Arena Jeju will serve as our ultimate prototype — a world-class blueprint that sets the standard as we prepare to expand our Arena network beyond Asia and into the Western market.”

He further emphasised, “We aspire to become a premier platform that delivers these incredible stories to a worldwide audience.”

“Global animation IP-based immersive experience exhibitions are expanding beyond simple viewing to stay-oriented tourism content,” said an expert in the cultural content industry. ” This new development of INCUBASE Arena carries symbolic significance and industrial impact for Jeju as a world-class tourism destination.”

Establishment of Korea Branch…Crossroads between global exhibition introduction

The launch of the Jeju Arena will mark INCUBASE Studio’s official corporate entry into the South Korean market. Beyond operating the mega-venue, the company intends to establish a formal Korean branch.

The new entity will not only introduce top-tier global exhibitions to South Korea but will also help export popular K-Content and K-Culture IPs to INCUBASE’s expansive global Arena network.

This “two-way bridge” strategy aims to both introduce global IPs into Korea and expand Korean IPs overseas, rather than pursuing a one-directional approach. INCUBASE Arena Jeju serves as the starting point and a key testing ground for this strategy.

INCUBASE Arena Jeju aims to combine globally popular IP exhibitions, exclusive merchandise, F&B offerings, and anime experiences, while incorporating local Korean elements. “Our goal is to create a themed destination that three generations can enjoy together, becoming a must-visit attraction for both domestic and international tourists to Jeju Island.”

This initiative, which integrates global anime IP with Jeju Island, one of Korea’s major tourism hubs, has strong potential to set a new benchmark for both the global exhibition content market and Jeju’s tourism industry.
