Led by Founder and CEO Sion Yip—an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience integrating more than 200 premium licenses with innovative technology—INCUBASE Studio has established a dominant experiential footprint. Highly successful INCUBASE Arenas are currently operating in Hong Kong, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur, capturing a fast-growing, cross-generational audience for immersive anime experiences. The network will expand further with a highly anticipated location targeted to open in Bangkok, Thailand, later in 2026.

“Our ultimate vision at INCUBASE is to showcase the sheer magic and power of manga and animation to the entire world,” said Sion Yip, Founder and CEO of INCUBASE Studio. “INCUBASE Arena Jeju will serve as our ultimate prototype—a world-class blueprint that sets the standard as we prepare to expand our Arena network beyond Asia and into the Western market. We want to be the premier platform that delivers these incredible stories to a worldwide audience.”

Global animation IP-based immersive experience exhibitions are expanding beyond simple viewing to stay-oriented tourism content. This new development of INCUBASE Arena carries great symbolic significance and industrial impact for Jeju as a world-class tourism destination.

Establishment of Korea Branch: Crossroads between global exhibition introduction and K-content export

Crucially, the launch of the Jeju Arena marks INCUBASE Studio’s official corporate entry into the South Korean market. Beyond operating the mega-venue, the company intends to establish a formal Korean branch. This new entity will not only introduce top-tier global exhibitions to South Korea but will also serve as a strategic two-way bridge, helping to export popular K-Content and K-Culture IPs to INCUBASE’s expansive global Arena network.
