“Chainsaw Man Animation Exhibition – Hong Kong” Opens January at INCUBASE Arena, Mongkok

Hong Kong-based entertainment production and curation company Incubase Studio announces its first major anime exhibition of 2025 – the “Chainsaw Man Animation Exhibition – Hong Kong”! In collaboration with MAPPA and Medialink Group (2230.HK), this exhibition marks the first-ever overseas stop of the “Chainsaw Man Animation Exhibition” outside of Japan. It will run from January 17 to March 16, 2025, and will be held at the newly reopened INCUBASE Arena in Mongkok, promising to captivate anime fans across the city. Early bird ticket details are also out now – fans, don’t miss out!

The Chainsaw Man anime series, produced by MAPPA, is based on the popular manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto (published by Shueisha). Premiering in October 2022, the anime has received global acclaim. To keep the excitement going, the first Chainsaw Man Animation Exhibition debuted in Tokyo last year, drawing thousands of fans. Now, Hong Kong proudly becomes the first city outside Japan to host the exhibition. Taking place at the new INCUBASE Arena at Chong Hing Square in Mongkok, it will also be the venue’s first exhibition after relocation — making it a double milestone!

As always, the exhibition promises rich and immersive content. The venue will be themed with Chainsaw Man-inspired scenes, plunging visitors into the anime’s thrilling universe. It will showcase materials from Episodes 1 to 12 of the anime, including precious original drawings, storyboards, and character setting references, all supervised by MAPPA. Behind-the-scenes videos will play in the venue, giving fans a closer look at the anime’s production process. Life-size 1:1 figures of Denji (Chainsaw Man), Makima, Power, Aki Hayakawa, and more will be on display for photo ops. A Hong Kong-exclusive photo zone will offer a unique experience just for local visitors. And of course, fans can grab exclusive merchandise to bring a piece of the exhibition home!

New INCUBASE Arena at Mongkok’s Chong Hing Square: Hong Kong’s Latest Anime Hub

The newly relocated INCUBASE Arena will officially open alongside the exhibition at its new home in Chong Hing Square, Mongkok. Spanning over 20,000 square feet across two basement floors (B1 & B2), the revamped anime experience hub features a card battle zone for trading card fans to gather and duel, a popup space for short-term showcases, and a massively expanded IncuShop which is packed with curated anime merchandise. It’s set to become Hong Kong’s newest cultural hotspot, offering fans an exciting and diverse experience.

This January, the opening of the “Chainsaw Man Animation Exhibition – Hong Kong” at the new INCUBASE Arena marks a new chapter in Hong Kong’s anime culture. It’s a tribute to local fans, and a contribution to the city’s cultural legacy. We warmly invite all Chainsaw Man and anime lovers to stay tuned and join us for this milestone event!
