10 Immersive Zones Including the First-Ever “Shinchan Museum”

Opening on January 10 at the Central 4B Hall of Huashan 1914 Creative Park, the exhibition introduces a two-level exhibition layout for the first time, bringing together 10 immersive themed zones that weave together highlights from the manga, anime and beloved feature films. The adventure begins in the Nohara Family Living Room, where an introductory video welcomes visitors into Shinchan’s world. Beyond recreating the familiar household setting, the video features the official Taiwanese voice actors for Shinchan, Hiroshi and Misae, making it feel as if visitors have just stepped into the Nohara home and overheard their everyday conversations—instantly bringing back childhood memories and setting the stage for the journey through time.

Combining interactive games, immersive visuals, and surround sound, the exhibition recreates many of the series’ most memorable and emotional scenes. Highlights include environments such as: The Nohara Family Living Room, An Alien Spaceship, A Futuristic City, The Dream World, A Forest Adventure, Ninja Village, Kantam Robot, The Taipei Tokusatsu Zone, Shinchan’s Time Journey and The Shinchan Museum. These experiences invite visitors to revisit classic movie moments while exploring the 35-year evolution of the franchise, celebrating the humor, warmth, and imagination that have accompanied generations of fans.

Taipei-Exclusive Zone Revealed
Giant Shinchan Appears in the City
The Shinchan Museum Showcases 35 Years of Creative History and 22 Mini Figures

For its Taipei stop, the exhibition introduces an exclusive “Taipei Tokusatsu Zone”. Inspired by the film Crayon Shinchan: The Legend Called Buri Buri 3-Minute Charge, this zone recreates the iconic scene where Shinchan confronts his giant counterpart—now reimagined in the streets of Taipei. The environment faithfully recreates the local cityscape, referencing the streets around Huashan while incorporating recognizable landmarks such as Taipei 101 and National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall to create the atmosphere of a cinematic tokusatsu film set. A specially designed miniature city photo zone enhances the illusion of giant-scale battles, allowing visitors to feel as if they’ve stepped into a tokusatsu production featuring towering heroes and monsters. An interactive game in this zone lets visitors join the battle themselves, helping defend the citizens of the city and becoming a key part of the action—an experience available only in Taipei.

Meanwhile, the ultimate pilgrimage destination for dedicated fans—the Shinchan Museum—offers a heartfelt retrospective of the series’ 35-year history. The exhibition traces the creative journey of the late manga artist Yoshito Usui, featuring character relationship charts, a timeline of the franchise’s development, rare film posters, and watercolor artworks. Visitors will also get an exclusive preview of 22 adorable mini Shinchan figures, each representing a different movie. Among them is the newest India-themed Shinchan design introduced in 2025, making the display a must-see for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Kasukabe Rescue Mission Begins
Use the Official App to Become a Time-Rescue Agent

A mysterious time vortex has thrown Kasukabe into chaos. Join Shin-chan and Shiro as you rescue missing residents and take part in a thrilling mission across time and space. As the most interactive Shinchan exhibition in Asia, the event introduces a dedicated mobile app game. Visitors can download the app before entering and become Time Rescue Agents, embarking on an exciting mission throughout the exhibition. By scanning hidden QR codes in different zones, players unlock characters waiting to be rescued. Certain hidden stages feature high-difficulty challenges, where only high-scoring players can save secret characters.

After completing the adventure, visitors will enter the emotional finale: “Shinchan’s Time Journey.” This immersive tunnel blends animation, manga panels, and cinematic storyboards, allowing fans to revisit beloved moments from films such as “Crayon Shinchan: Adventure in Henderland”, “Crayon Shinchan: Super-Dimension!
