A Must-Visit Dark Halloween Spectacle 2025! “Junji Ito Horror House 2” by Japan’s Master of Contemporary Horror Manga Opens September 19 – November 9 at Mong Kok’s INCUBASE Arena
September 18, 2025

Master-Level Haunted House + Junji Ito Animation Replica Artwork Zone
Even More Terror in October! Meet Junji Ito in Person at the Hong Kong Fan Event
One Ticket, Two Experiences | Dark-Themed Café Debuts
The highly anticipated exhibition “Junji Ito Horror House 2” will finally descend upon Hong Kong at INCUBASE Arena in Mong Kok’s Chong Hing Square, from September 19 to November 9, 2025, perfectly spanning Halloween on October 31! Widely hailed as the “Master of Contemporary Japanese Horror Manga”, Junji Ito invites fans to step beyond the page and into his chilling imagination—where finely drawn black-and-white lines transform into a world of oppressive, otherworldly terror.
This experience combines an immersive haunted house with a curated showcase of replica artwork from Ito’s anime adaptations, allowing visitors to confront fear on multiple levels: visually, emotionally, and psychologically. Fan anticipation has been overwhelming — special advance ticket packages sold out well before the opening. With the National Day and Mid-Autumn holidays approaching, there’s no better time to gather friends and experience what promises to be the ultimate dark attraction of 2025.
Two Haunted Zones. One Ticket. Endless Fear.
The exhibition, themed around the anime Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre, features two haunted zones: Hall A “Village of Retribution” and Hall B “Town of Summons”, led by the iconic characters Tomie and Souichi. Guided only by a single “lifeline rope”, visitors must venture into the dark and navigate through ten terrifying scenes, including Tunnel of Terror, Headless Statue, Tomie: Photo, Souichi’s Pet, and more. This immersive journey delivers the full intensity of Junji Ito’s suffocating horror aesthetics.
For the first time, Hong Kong audiences can explore both haunted zones with a single admission ticket—an unbeatable opportunity to step into Junji Ito’s meticulously staged horror landscapes. Each scene has been crafted to immerse visitors in a living nightmare, where oppressive silence, distorted beauty, and creeping dread close in at every turn. To preserve the atmosphere and ensure the most intense sensory experience, photography and video recording are strictly prohibited inside the exhibition halls.

Waves of Terror Continue — Replica Artwork Display and Uzumaki Immersive Zone
After braving the horrors of Halls A and B, visitors will enter the “Mystery Zone”, where Junji Ito’s artistry takes center stage. Here, fans can get up close with replica animation artwork and experience a full-scale recreation of the iconic scenes from Uzumaki. This area offers a rare chance to explore the creative vision and inspirations of Japan’s master of modern horror.
Within the Uzumaki installation, the manga’s most unforgettable moments are brought to life through haunting three-dimensional set pieces. Visitors will feel the overwhelming despair and madness of being consumed by endless spirals, stepping directly into a world where supernatural forces and curses twist reality itself. This chilling finale ensures the exhibition closes on its darkest, most unforgettable note.
