March 28 – May 10, 2026 at INCUBASE Arena, Mong Kok
Discover the Untold Origins of the First Heisei Rider Through Massive Installations, Iconic Scene Recreations, and Newly Created Grongi Statues
“Your smiles are mine to protect!” — Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the legendary tokusatsu series “Masked Rider Kuuga”, INCUBASE Studio proudly presents the “Masked Rider Kuuga 25th Anniversary Exhibition”, opening today at INCUBASE Arena in Mong Kok. Marking Hong Kong as the very first overseas stop of the 2026 overseas tour, the exhibition will run from March 28 to May 10, 2026.
This landmark exhibition offers fans an unprecedented look into the birth of the very first Heisei Kamen Rider and the creative process that redefined a new era of tokusatsu storytelling. From behind-the-scenes production secrets to faithfully recreated battle scenes, visitors will be immersed once again in the unforgettable world where “everything began from zero”. Fans are invited to relive the timeless legacy of a series that forever changed Japanese superhero history.
Uncover the Origins of a Hero: Rare Production Materials and Design Archives Revealed for the First Time
As the highly anticipated first overseas stop of the global touring exhibition, the showcase begins with a special “Origins” zone, tracing the creation of “Kuuga” from its earliest conceptual stages. Visitors can explore character concepts, costume and world-building designs, as well as valuable archival materials including original sketches, development documents, and rare visual references.
The journey then leads into the immersive “Super Statue” zone, where dramatic large-scale figures and meticulously crafted dioramas recreate Kuuga’s legendary forms and defining battle moments in breathtaking detail. One of the exhibition’s biggest highlights is the debut of newly produced life-sized statues of the Grongi — Kuuga’s terrifying enemy faction — created exclusively for the 25th anniversary exhibition. Their imposing presence and astonishing craftsmanship vividly capture the intense clash between light and darkness, delivering a visually overwhelming experience for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
Limited-Time Merchandise Store: Japan-Imported Merchandise and Hong Kong Limited Editions Arrive Together
The excitement extends beyond the exhibition itself with a dedicated pop-up merchandise store featuring an extensive lineup of collectible items. Fans can look forward to Japan-imported products, including the highly sought-after “Kuuga Exhibition” official artbook, the visually stunning “Kuuga Mosaic Art Poster” (A2 size), café-inspired items from the series, and acrylic stands featuring fan-favourite antagonist “La Barba de / The Rose Tattoo Woman”.
In addition, the Hong Kong stop will debut specially licensed local exclusive merchandise. Among the most anticipated items is a premium set of 22 collectible holographic cards showcasing every Kuuga form. Finished with high-quality printing and shimmering detailing, these cards are designed as must-have collector’s pieces for dedicated fans.
Other Hong Kong exclusive items include limited-edition themed T-shirts, clear folders and iconic scene posters, incorporating signature symbols from the series into stylish everyday collectibles.
To make the experience even more memorable, the venue also features an exhibition-exclusive newspaper machine and photo sticker booth, allowing visitors to create personalized keepsakes and capture their own moments with Kuuga.
Must-Have Collector Bonuses: 14 Physical Ticket Designs + 12 Random Postcard Entry Gifts
The exhibition will also launch a series of exclusive admission collectibles throughout the event period. A total of 14 physical ticket designs will be released, with two different designs available each week, featuring Kuuga’s various forms in action.
Every visitor will additionally receive one random exhibition-exclusive postcard from a collection of 12 designs showcasing iconic scenes from the series. With such a wide variety of collectible tickets and postcards, fans will undoubtedly want to return multiple times to complete their collections.
Additional fan activities include:
- Visitors who post photos from the exhibition on social media, tag @incubase.arena, and use the hashtags #MaskedRiderKuuga25thAnniversary and #KuugaExhibition will receive an exclusive sticker gift while supplies last.
- Guests who present “Mission Cards” to designated staff members can receive a special Kuuga emblem sticker, available in limited quantities.
- Multiple Kamen Rider Kuuga Meet-and-Greet sessions will be announced for April and May, featuring appearances in different forms. Starting March 29, customers who spend HK$200 or more in a single transaction at the pop-up store inside the exhibition will receive a limited-quantity participation ticket for the meet-and-greet events.
The exhibition will also offer an exclusive commemorative collectible originally created for the Japanese “Masked Rider Kuuga 25th Anniversary Exhibition” — the S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Super Ancient Warrior Kuuga (pre-order only).
Based on Kuuga’s appearance in “EPISODE 1: Revival”, the figure recreates the “Ancient Warrior Kuuga” with weathered detailing throughout the body to evoke the aura of a warrior from a forgotten civilization. Ancient glyph markings, chest and shoulder details, as well as ring accents on the wrists and ankles, are all finished with ink-inspired treatments. The figure also includes a specially designed display base and premium packaging sleeve featuring sarcophagus motifs, making it an exceptional collector’s item.
Due to the detailed production process of the Shinkocchou Seihou line, collection is expected in Q3 2026. Buyers will receive collection arrangements and instructions via email once stock arrives. Collection will require presentation of the corresponding QR code.
